Hello, Space Swap creator! In addition to the general likes and DNWs, here’s some prompts. Feel free to run with any of these, something from my likes, or anything that doesn’t go against my DNWs!

Where I've requested both platonic and romantic pairings, I’m absolutely happy with either option or a secret third thing (queerplatonic/ambiguous relationships/”wtf is this relationship?” are my jam). Queerplatonic/ambiguous/wtf is this relationships are also welcome for the platonic pairings. Thank you for creating for me and have fun!

 
Likes: Hurt/comfort, whump, angst with a happy ending, fluff with feels, domestic fluff. PTSD/trauma recovery, depression, anxiety. Disabled characters, chronic pain/illness. Queer characters, especially arospec and acespec, queerplatonic relationships, ambiguous relationships, romance with an emphasis on emotional connection. Loyalty/trust (developing or established), characters taking care of each other. Cuddling, holding hands, hugs, forehead kisses, general softness. Historical settings, isolated settings, canon divergent AUs.

DNW: Major character death, hopeless endings. Smut. AUs other than canon divergence. Pregnancy, a focus on kids, breakups/divorce. Therapy, extended hospital stays (someone getting patched up is fine, staying more than overnight isn’t). Major conflict between requested characters (arguing is fine if the conflict is resolved).

 

The Murderbot Diaries

Asshole Research Transport & Murderbot

I adore Murderbot’s discomfort with feelings and how much it just wants to be left alone to watch media, but has ended up with so many friends and people who care about it. Especially fond of its relationship with ART, whatever that relationship is.

For Murderbot & ART, I’m cool with them being anything from reluctant best friends to in an undefined/ambiguous relationship to something queerplatonic. I just adore how important they’ve become to each other while still endlessly bickering.

William Adama & Saul Tigh

I love these two as best friends or platonic life partners. They are both so committed to each other and accepting of each other even when it seems like circumstances should tear their friendship apart for good. Huge fan of their loyalty and the way they take care of and support each other.

Fandom specific DNW: On-screen appearance of Ellen Tigh (references totally fine, I’d just rather not have her as an active character). An abstinence-only approach to Saul’s alcoholism (it’s fine if he’s stopped drinking at the time of the fic, just no explicit discussion of it being the only way to handle addiction).

The cultural differences with these two fascinate me, especially in light of how similar they actually can be, and I love how eagerly they learn from each other. Anything during the show or post canon is great! Post canon Cardassia might be fun, or maybe they go off on other adventures? 

I’m cool with any sort of relationship for them, from best friends to an ambiguous relationship to wildly in love. As long as they love each other in their own way and are important to each other, I’m happy.

I love all of these characters and the friendship that develops between them. The way they work together as a team and have each other’s backs even when they disagree is great.

Stargate Atlantis

Rodney McKay & John Sheppard, Rodney McKay/John Sheppard

I get such a kick out of these two and their bickering, and how much they love spending time together. All their little hobbies and games kill me. I’m up for anything set during the show or post canon, either back on Earth or returning to the Pegasus Galaxy.

I’m cool with any sort of relationship for them, from best friends to an ambiguous relationship to wildly in love. As long as they love each other in their own way and are important to each other, I’m happy.

The Expanse (TV)

Amos Burton, Amos Burton & Jim Holden & Alex Kamal & Naomi Nagata, Amos Burton & Naomi Nagata, Klaes Ashford & Camina Drummer 

I love all of these characters and their friendships! Amos and Naomi have such an interesting dynamic especially early on when Amos is still relying on her as his moral compass. The full Roci crew together is a delight, I adore their dinners and antics and the way they find their way back to each other. Ashford and Drummer have such great banter and mutual respect, and I loved seeing their different perspectives on things.

Fandom specific DNW: Amos in a romantic relationship with anyone.

Six & Three, Six/Three

I love the messy complicated relationship these two have, with Three always acting much more hostile than he actually is. Their mutual respect while still getting on each other’s nerves is so much fun. Happy to see anything set during the show, or post-canon with Six surviving. 

I’m cool with them being anything from reluctant friends to in some sort of ambiguous relationship to wildly (but probably reluctantly) in love. For these two, I could totally also see a friends with benefits situation, with or without romantic feelings. As long as they love each other in their own way (aka reluctantly lol) and are important to each other, I’m happy.

• Three reacts pretty strongly to nearby aliens during The Dwarf Star Conspiracy. Does his prior possession cause any long term effects once there are more of them in our dimension? Chronic health issues, ability to listen in on alien communications, etc?

Alien Films

Jones the Cat & Ellen Ripley

I just love these two! Ripley going back to save Jonesy before evacuating the Nostromo kills me, and I absolutely love all the stuff early in Aliens with the two of them.

Fandom specific DNW: I’d prefer to avoid canon events from the films after Aliens. Alive Ripley, please!
